Hey,

Maybe somebody had the same problem and can help. Cause i'm freaking out.

We moved from California to Virginia. I did AR-11 to change the address. After that we filed for AOS on the 5th of November, received all 3 NOA's at the new address. Later i checked the case status and it said that they mailed a RFE notice on the 17th. Today i get an email from USCIS saying the notice been returned back to USCIS as undelivered.

I called them, the lady said yes, it's been returned to them. I was told that i had to change the address not only with DHS, but with USCIS too. So my question is, how the hell did i get 3 notices at my new address and the RFE they sent was sent back as undelivered.

She changed my address and mentioned something about it taking 30 days. Do i have to wait for 30 days for them to resend the RFE?

I have no biometrics appointment yet, nothing. Tried to call USCIS, but no chance to talk to a life person to ask what kind of RFE that is and when i'm supposed to get it.

I'd appreciate any help.

12/10/2008 - USCIS received required documents.....waiting......

12/12/2008 - Case processing resumed....fingers crossed

12/17/2008 - I-485 "touched"

12/19/2008 - Case transferred to CSC

12/22/2008 - I-485 "touched"

12/31/2008 - I-485 "touched"

01/02/2009 - I-485 "touched"

01/07/2009 - EAD, AP "touched"

01/08/2009 - AP approved

01/20/2009 - Service request made for Biometrics

02/28/2009 - Biometrics appointment

03/10/2009 - EAD approved

03/11/2009 - EAD received

04/07/2009 - Second biometrics appointment

04/24/2009 - I-485 approved

04/30/2009 - Green Card received

Sad to say nobody knows what the RFE is about not until you received the Letter containing the RFE. Better to settle the address issue so that you can have the letter soon. Good luck to you

Oct 14, 2008---EAD1 CARD ARRIVES! Approval date is Oct. 2, 2008

Dec 10, 2008---INTERVIEW DAY! APPROVED!!!

Dec 17, 2008---WELCOME NOTICE RECEIVED

Jan 9, 2009---CARD RECEIVED FINALLY! Approval date 12-10-08..expires on 12-10-10

REMOVAL OF CONDITIONS

Sept 10,2010---REMOVAL OF CONDITIONS

CITIZENSHIP

Sept 10,2011---Application for citizenship
