Hi Adokeni, welcome to our group.

I see you have the same NOA1 date we have and we also just got our NOA2

Have been filling in forms this weekend and sent them back sunday, now I am working on the checklist for the interview.

Jack is sending some stuff and I think I have most of it covered, just need a lawyer to reply for a letter of consent.

Almost got a heart attack today, the BMR shot costs 193,60 euro.

And since they didn't use to give the full one when I was young, I'll need it.

Patrick may want look into it also Liz.

Glad my insurance covers most of it, didn't expect it to be this expensive. Also need the DTP since my last one was more than 10 years ago.

LOL, I am on a roll here, also have the dogs scheduled for early vaccinations.

My son is so glad he doesn't have to have any :P

Anyway, time to start making dinner now, have a nice evening all.

:blink: 196,60!! Holy #######! Sorry...that's a lot though!! I'll make sure he reads this and have him check into it with his doctor/insurance! Sheesh....why does everything in this process have to be so expensive?!?!

Glad you got everything done this weekend like you wanted, Peet! You should have an interview date soon!!! And Thanks for the heads-up about the shot!!! ((HUGS))

Hugs, Liz

Hello everyone!

I had a question concerning the medical exam. Those of you who have already done it, do they give you a date to have your examination or can you have everything done before your NOA2? Is the medical exam done around the same time as the interview, or is it on the check list you get when you receive the NOA2? Just trying to figure out what we can and can't do already. =]

Thanks!

~Lindsey~

It is not possible to do it before your NOA2, since you will need the paperwork that you get after that. When you receive your visa interview appointment letter, you will also receive instructions on how to schedule your medical appointment, which has to take place at least a week before the actual interview.

Ahh okay, I was just wondering, since it just mentions the medical and not really WHEN it takes place. Makes sense though that it would be around the same time as the interview. I thought that's when it would take place, but I just wanted to make sure. =]

Thanks

Today is one of those days where you want to just crawl back in bed and wish it were over with already.... :crying:

People on my February filers thread are starting to get approvals and I'm SOOO happy for them, but at the same time I was so hopeful at the beginning of the week because TWO of them have the same file/noa1 date as me and got their NOA2's on Monday. I still haven't gotten mine and it's getting depressing.... *sigh*

i miss my patrick...

Dear Liz!

Hang in there girl!

I know this is so frustrating! This time to wait for a NOA2 is asking a lot from us all!

We just want to get it and sure it come sometime and i guess it will be when we don't expect it.

Every time hoping for it, i understand that it is getting depressing!

But it always goes up and down!

Just try to think at positive things, the things you did together, look at happy pictures, that will sometime helps by me! Not always though, sometimes that make it worse!

thinking of you, of you all!

Take care and a big hug from Ri

Liz, I so know how you feel, felt the same when I saw that happen around us.

But keep in mind, yours is coming too

Oh, please make Patrick happy with the mistake my pharmacist made when I called.

As it turns out, the BMR isn't 193 euro's, but just over 30 :D

Strange mistake to make, but I rather have it this way than the other way around.

Anyway, I had to take the day off tomorrow, have to call the consulate and visit my doctor to get vaccinated.

And both are only available in the mornings.

LOL, I knew it would make you happy :jest:

well, I called the consulate, they are so nice there :)

Answered the questions I had, in Dutch, which was even better since this was about legal stuff concerning my son.

As I expected, I need to bring a letter of consent from my ex in which he gives permission to me to take my son with me.

I have an appointment now with the notary for the next week, so my checklist is going back to the consulate today.
