Nikki, i hope everything works out for you! That is really to bad how that all went with the passports!

Is his birthcertificate delivered?

Yes, it is! He sent everything to them on Monday. Unfortunately, they called him today and said that one of the papers he gave them wasn't signed, so he has to go back next week for them to solidly approve him.

As for the passport situation -- We ended up having one of my truly amazing and selfless friends act as a proxy for my mom and was able to pick up my mom's birth certificate, which she overnighted to us. We should have it tomorrow! Hopefully, we'll be able to go to San Francisco's passport agency tomorrow afternoon and submit the papers directly. Keep your fingers crossed, but if the stars line up just right or whatever.. she should be getting her passport just in time!

Ok...haven't read this whole topic because I am at work...and um...don't want to be caught on the internet. LOL. Anyway, my fiance John is from Holland and I am a California gal. Just wanted to say HOI!
Welcome to the thread! As you can already tell, everyone here is quite wonderful to talk to. :)

ok,time for another introduction,I guess. I'm Blu's fiance from Holland.
Hello to you, as well. <3 I really hope the two of you are processed as quickly as possible. :)

Hey all,

I also am in the I-130 april filers topic... I think i am not going to look at that topic anymore because than i get sad!

You know what they said?

They called USCIS to talk about their case, USCIS said: Don't expect us working at those cases till close to the 6 months because they are working at the work visa's...

I need patience! I know we just started our journey and we have a long way to go but i was hoping we were so lucky as the february filers, they flew or are flying through the whole visa journey! Wish we filed in february too, but well we had enough at our head in february because family emergency etc.

Well just try to think and i believe, nothing is for nothing everything has a reason, but i am sorry i just don't understand or see the reasons sometime!

Aw, Ri.. with any luck, you'll be seeing an approval within the next few weeks. USCIS will always tell you that they're going to wait out the six months, but.. hopefully, things will be processed sooner than that. Stay busy and keep smiling. <3

Haha. Congratulations! I'm so thrilled that you finally got it. :D Have a safe flight. <3

Peet - Those pictures are absolutely fantastic. :D

I hope everyone's week is going great. :)

Thanks Nikki, i hope you are right and that we get it soon! yesterday i was really sad about it!

Even when i look to Peet, she is already waiting for NOA2 so long and if you hear such news than you think...how much longer will it take? I am so hoping that we will be done in October but if USCIS really wait till 6 months than i can forget that and think it will be in 2010 and than the time together with Daniel will be shorter because i really think he get deployed somewhere in 2010... That deployment will take 8 months of separating again, something what belong to his work but this separating time we have right now is just because VISA stuff and that sucks...I feel like it is time, important time we have to miss.

Take Care Nikki!

Soon your fiance is by you! YEAH!

Have a safe flight, Jeanine! <3<3

Haha, have fun at the wedding tomorrow, Ri. :D

..They shipped my mom's birth certificate and stuff to the wrong address. Oy. :ranting::bonk:

The only doom that's looming is you loving me to death,

So I'll give you a sec to catch your breath.

Okay, as an update: We managed to track down the address to which they shipped my mom's stuff - Turns out they wrote down one of the numbers in our address incorrectly [even though we'd written it down twice for them, but I suppose that's neither here nor there]. So, we waited and.. more or less stalked.. that house on and off until they came home. The guy was really understanding and sympathetic - And then we went to the UPS Store to ship it to where it needs to be. They should get everything tomorrow. Oy. This is turning out to be more complex than the visa process. :P

And, by the by, I can't wait to be told we're getting one, haha.

Friday is mere hours away, guys! I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend. :)

This message reaches you from the USA, I actually made it and I am still in shock. The POE was simple as pie, I flew in through Dallas Fort Worth, missed my 1-hour connection time by 1 minute, but luckily it's a commuter route, so they fly hourly to Tulsa and I got on the very next one. Seeing each other after 5 months apart was strange, like I actually didn't recognize her for just a second, but when I did it was amazing! Other than the day I got married, I'd put yesterday as the best day of my life. Thanks everyone here for your amazing support through some hard times. I will continue to come here to support y'all as often as I remember to! On a good note, I got offered a job already and my Police job can continue on the side, so I'm very lucky to have some amazing friends here in Oklahoma, who thought of me while I was away. Good luck to everyone and I hope for Jeanine that her flight goes as well as mine did!
