Marty,

"To get" an attorney is a personal decision. Recognize that there are 2, not just 1, ways to use an attorney - consult with one to evaluate your case and learn about the process, or retain one to work with you ont the case. The former is always a worthwhile investment.

Notary Publics notarize. Your signature on Affidavits of support, and your signature or statement of authenticity on anything else you may want them to notarize. Where ever you can find one, your bank's local branch office is usually a good bet.

To get an attorney or not? To get married in China or US?

Who notarizes what? Whaer do documents get notarized? Local? State? Federal?
