I just did my biometrics for AOS and EAD two weeks ago at the San Antonio facility. My question is how long does it usually take for EAD approval after the biometrics. On the VJ EAD time line it says about 50 days after biometrics. All help and or sharing of personal experiences of other members is greatly appreciated.

It varies depending on the service center and the time of year. Ours was roughly 30 days from biometrics to GC....we never did get our EAD in the mail.

I wish you the best of luck.

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

You only get one trip

Thanks for the reply it is always interesting to hear other people's experiences since they seem to vary from case to case. Did you have to go in for an interview or did you just receive the GC?

I took us a little over a month to get the biometrics for the EAD and about six more weeks for the EAD do arrive.

There are some stats for the EADs under the immigration timeline at the top of the page.

It took about six weeks from the time Claudeth did her biometrics for EAD until she received the card.
