My husband and I have been on AP since Aug. 2008 and we are now off AP. We only found this information out after I phoned DOS to ask for an update on our case. I was told that he has an interview scheduled for Dec. 8 at 1 p.m. and they also told me that he was sent a package that should contain his a paper with his interview date on it and instructions on what to bring with him to the interview. This was sent on Oct. 30 via DHL and to date he has not received it. I even verified that they sent it to the correct address and they did. I scanned a copy of the paper we were given at the first interview with the case number on it and had him get in the inquiry line at the embassy to see if he could get a copy of the packet that was sent to him. They first asked if he had received a call from the embassy and the answer is no he hasn't. Then they told him that he should just come back on the date that I gave him because his name would be on a list and he would be able to get in. We both know this is not true. No one is allowed in the embassy unless they can prove with an interview letter or otherwise that they have business there.

What I want to ask is if there are any fellow Nigerians out there that have been through AP for a K3 visa that would know what the procedure is when you are called back. Like I said, he has never received a call from the embassy and the DHL delivery never made it to his house and we are down to the last two weeks before the interview and we don't know what else to do. I have written the embassy twice through email with no response. I did give the phone numbers to the embassy to my husband to see if he can get through that way, and tomorrow I am going to fax a letter explaining what I am right now to see if I can get a response that way. DOS says I can verify that they received the fax by calling them because they will be able to see on the computer whether it was or not.

We are desparate for help right now. Any help we can get would be much appreciated!

Thanks,

Deb
