A great marriage is not when the "perfect couple" comes together.

It is when an imperfect couple learns to enjoy their differences.

I forget to change my old signature when i was signing my AOS & EAD application. Now instead of new signature in my married name, my old maiden hand written signature appeared in my EAD card. Now I am confused if i will start using new signature in my married name when i apply state ID and drivers license. Or can I continue using my old signature.

Hi to all !

Is it okay to use the old signature (maiden name) even if i am already married and using my husband's surname ?

Any opinion will be appreciated. :(

Not when signing any legal documents..but if your old signature doesn't have any name reflected on it [if its only a symbol] then there's no problem.

But make it sure you are consistent with your signature to avoid future problems.

Mags still uses her old signature on everything. It doesn't really matter, since it's illegible anyway. :P

Lady, people aren't chocolates. Do you know what they are mostly? Bastards. ####### coated bastards with ####### filling. But I don't find them half as annoying as I find naive bobble-headed optimists who walk around vomiting sunshine.

I still use my old signature. It doesn't spell out my maiden name so who cares. As long as you stay with the signature and doesn't change right or left, I don't see the issue. A signature can't be an X if you wanted to.

AOS Approved on 10-17-08 (details in profile)

Removal of Conditions on 07-19-10

In this tedious process, we tend to forget that this is all worth it.

I love my hubby beyond anything in this world.
