Hey ladies:

I work in a hopsital and one of our coworkers died this morning. She was sick for sometime with breast cancer. I was really beating up cuz I wanted to see her for the last. So I went up to see her she looks so peaceful. One of our coworkers was told when she comes back down to was her hands three times etc. Now I am scared cuz I am preggos. will anything happen to baby. I heard abt going to a funeral when u r on ur period that u can hemorrhage. You have to rub blue on ur panty seat before u go. As u can see I am very superstitious when it comes on these things. :help: Unno dont laugh.

My coworker was laughing and said "stop wid di foolishness

Ok I am not going to laugh 1luv but it is funny. I'm sorry about your coworker. My grandma used to say that same stuff about being on your period and holding a newborn baby that it makes the baby strain or some mess. You are supposed to tie a strip from the underware of the person on their period around the baby leg making 7 knots or something like that ...I refused to do it to my babies and my mom and grandma were hopping mad! Needless to say they did not strain or whateva was supposed to happen because I didn't do it.

Thats a nice looking hotel. Never stayed in it as the price was more than what we wanted to pay but we visited and it was really nice looking.

Morning/Afternoon Yardies! TGIF!!

Morning all! I am at work already and feel like I got hit by a truck :(

Here's a laugh to start the day:

BASIC RULES FOR DRIVING IN KINGSTON

1. Turn signals will give away your next move. A real Kingston driver never uses them.

2. Under no circumstance should you leave a safe distance between you and the car in front of you, or the space will be filled in by somebody else, putting you in an even more dangerous situation.

3. The faster you drive through a red light, the smaller the chance you have of getting hit.

4. Never, ever come to a complete stop at a stop sign. No one expects it and it will result in you being rear-ended.

5. Never get in the way of an older car that needs extensive bodywork. The other guy doesn't have anything to lose.

6. Braking is to be done as hard and late as possible to ensure that your ABS kicks in, giving a nice, relaxing foot massage as the brake pedal pulsates. For those of you without ABS, it's a chance to stretch your legs.

7. Never pass on the right when you can pass on the left. It's a good way to scare people for a laugh.

8. Speed limits are arbitrary figures, given only as a suggestion and are apparently not enforceable in Kingston.

9. Just because you're in the right lane and have no room to speed up or move over doesn't mean that a Kingston driver flashing his high beams behind you doesn't think he can go faster in your spot.

10. Always slow down and rubberneck when you see an accident or even someone changing a tire.

11. Learn to swerve abruptly. Kingston is the home of the high-speed 'dally' , thanks to the KSAC, which puts pot-holes in key locations to test drivers' reflexes and keep them on their toes.

12. It is traditional in Kingston to honk your horn at cars that don't move the instant the light turns green.

13. Remember that the goal of every Kingston driver is to get there first --by whatever means necessary.

 HILARIOUS! Sounds very similar to San Francisco driving!

Lawny you look gorgeous - and way better than I would at 4:30 am about to leave for the airport - I leave with sweats, hair in a ponytail, no makeup, ...

I'm with you Sus... Jeans and sneakers or flip-flops.

Same here, flip flops so I can slip them off going through security and keep them off during the long flight from SF to Miami. Sometimes I feel like such a slob and I'm sure I'd look like one compared to some of you ladies! YA SHARP!

Good Morning Portland...

So today is the day you find out if Mr. Portland gets his passport back right? He will be traveling if so right? What time does his flight get in?

Hey Jawi, yes today maybe the day, still nothing on DHL website. His flight is at 6:30pm, gets in around 11pm, I am so glad I didn't listen to him a schedule a morning flight. He is going to go by the DHL office around 1pm and see. So I am just praying and hoping for the best!

Sending out a prayer and crossing fingers, toes, legs, arms, hair and everything that he gets it and can fly home to you today!!!

good morning everyone!

Nice pic lawny, you do look amazing for it to be 4am. I am with sus, I don't get dress up for the airport at all jeans or sweats and some slides. My mom always get deck out, one year we were coming back from Curacao and we had to switch plane in JA, well we were walking about to broad the plane right at the top of the steps and my mom heels got caught up in her rolled up pants and she fell down the steps, thank god it was only 4 stairs and she wasn't hurt. Now she dresses a little more sensible.

:o And THAT is exactly why I dress for comfort when travelling! Poor Mama!

Even though I'm not here every day to tell you just know that you are NEVER far from my mind, heart & prayers!

Love you guys!! (L) & have a bless-ed day!!

Gill

Awww, you so sweet Gill! (L)

That was inspiring Wakey but now I feel like a bigger fatty! Look at that lady 71 looking like a brick house and look at me looking like Krispy Creme Restaurant! :crying::rofl: I am going to get motivated and turn my Krispy Creme into a brick house

:rofl::rofl: Well, if you're Krispy Kreme, then I'm Dunkin Donuts!

I'm hungri

Solo tanks...I don't have a clue about makeup, don't know how to apply it so I don't bother with it.

Oh lawny you should have told Santa you wanted a make up session for Christmas. I can tell you don't need much and those cheeks and eyes! Oh the artist would love. My friend was like you with the make up then she got her make up done one day and you can't tell her nothing  She does apply it so well now I am trying to master the whole eyeshadow thing right now but when it is on right  FAB!!!

Lawny lookin lovely in the picha! Yous a hot mama too! Your face is beautiful and it actually already looks like you're wearing make-up.
