I am nearly positive Abdou will fly on Royal Ari Morocco the same as I usually do because it is a straight flight to NY. And I believe the fare is about $750...

I am very happy for you because I remember your posts when the second interview went wrong I felt so bad for you. Just remember when he gets here and things get "REAL" , and some times you have rough days , just remember this struggle to be together. It always helps me to remember how hard it was to be together and it helps alot, helps to put the hard times in order and get through them. Congrats!!

Why are you chosing RAM? I personally think the route going from Casa to Paris (or another European city) and then changing planes straight to LA or SF (is that where your husband is flying into, martini?) and going through immigration here.

If you go to JFK its just a big pain in the ####### to go through customs, get your bags, change terminals, check in again, fly, get bags again....

Plus I haven't been thrilled with RAM anymore. Bad service. Bad food. Broke my bags. Lost my bags. Just a hassle all around.

But if the price is a big difference, then I understand!!! I've flown RAM plenty but I really think Air France or something else is MUCH better.

I agree. Badr flew with Air France from Casa to Paris and straight to San Fran. Being his first flight, I think this was the least complicated one.

Congratulations!

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Smart move!

I didn't think of the best possibilities at the time...my husband flew RAM from Casa to JFK, went through customs, got his bags, changed terminals, checked in again, flew to LA, and when he arrived they lost one of his bags (and never found it)

Its just a lot easier for people who have never flown before and possibly if their English isn't so great to do a route through Europe or Canada.

Live and learn!
