i just filed a service request with the vermont service center, the lady told me that uscis has 45 days to search for my case, and will notify me by mail with the status of my case, she also said that if i dont hear anything in 45 days to call them back.

Has anyone else filed a service request, and if you have, how long did it take to get an answer back from usics, and did it generate any positive changes?

I have two with CSC that are suppose to be completed by Nov 27th. I was given a number for tracking purposes. In my case the requests are to change the middle name of my wife on the I-130 and I-129f

I was never given a number for tracking purposes, should i call them back and ask them for a tracking number?

Sorry to hear about 7 months, I am at 4 months and furious, but what can we do

I tried to change my address on website and had to call them, as website was down for days. They told me it would be 45 days before the Change of address would take place if THEY did it and quicker if I went online????? Figure that one out!! i told them that I expect my NOA2 before 45 DAYS, and I HOPE they don't send it to the wrong address. She told me I should have called sooner maybe?? How can you call SOONER , when they WON'T even put your address change thru until AFTER you have moved??? They are unreal. I honestly thing the change went thru immediately, but they don't want to tell you or you may ask them...Hows my file doing???

That's the rule, 30-45days to wait. Better to pray for them who process our papers?
