Here's a starter list. But you've got to have it all filled in properly, use the newest version of the forms, sign in the right places, and submit the right amount of money to the right address. So there's lots of things that can get you an RFE. We all hope that we don't get an RFE, but RFEs happen. Do your best and read the guides under the big blue tab at the top of the page and read the stickies at the top of this forum.

•Form I-485, Application to Adjust Status

Photographs (2) of applicant

Photocopy of birth certificate of applicant

Photocopy of passport biographical page and K1 visa page

Photocopy Form DS-3025 Vaccination Documentation Worksheet

The I-693 filled out by a Civil Surgeon (new form/new rules if your medical was after June 1)

Form G-325A Biographic Information Sheet (this is a new one, not the one for I-129F, but most info the same)

Form I-864 Affidavit of Support with photocopies of supporting documents:

Letter from employer

2007 Income tax return with W2 and 1099-R statements (I did this because IRS had no transcript yet for my 2007)

2006 and 2005 IRS tax transcripts

Photocopy of I-797 Notice of Action, I-129 Petition Approval Notice from USCIS

Certified copy of Marriage Certificate

Photocopy Form I-94 Arrival/Departure record

•Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization

Photographs (2) of applicant

Photocopy of passport biographical page and K1 visa page

Photocopy of Form I-94 Arrival/Departure record

•Form I-131, Application for Travel Document

Photographs (2) of applicant

Statement of circumstances that warrant issuance of advance parole

Photocopy of passport biographical page and K1 visa page
