Doctors always slap on a diagnosis of a UTI(or bronchitis) when they don't really know whats going on. They just want to hurry and get you out of their face and temporarily appease you by handing you a prescription. Only if they took the time to investigate thoroughly.

Yup, I didnt feel like that until this whole mess started almost 3 months ago. Now they are going to investigate because its not working, I just wish they couldve done that at the beginning.

Do you guys think I should take my bactrim tonight and tomorrow though I have a sore throat? Yes I know I should talk to a doctor, but I wont be able to talk to one tonight and not sure what to do.

Yes take it never stop a prescribed treatement halfway thru UNLESS OK'd by your doctor - you might make your lil bugs more resistant if you do that. Also I reckon you're sensitive to Sulfa - thats a common one to get reactions to - you need to drink VAST amounts of water to control the nausea. Really you need to slosh; if you do then you're on enough water. Sulfa is proven tho to bind to bugs in the Urinary tract and help dislodge them.

I agree that if yr Docs had given you ultrasound right off you might have found your problem sooner (that's presuming they DO find something)- but they always like to eliminate the small stuff first.
