Hello everyone :)

Looking into hiring someone to help with our K1 visa journey...any good recomendations out there?

My girlfriend lives in Bogota and we are thinking of going with www.colombian-services.com

You will most likely not get much response in regards to your question as most people here either already hired a lawyer (and often after finding VJ wish they hadn't) or they simply do it themselves.

Do you have extreme circumstances? Previous overstays? IMBRA issues?... etc?

If not then have a look at the GUIDES (specifically the K1 Guide and checklist). You will find a list of everything you will need as well as example forms to help you fill your paperwork out.

Even if you are hiring someone else, you will still need to gather everything they will need to send in so it's important to familiarize yourself with the process so it goes as smoothly as possible.

I would recommend not hiring a lawyer at all. A lot of people here did that, and their lawyer screwed up. Doing it yourself is only slightly more work, like KimandRuss said, you'll still need to gather evidence and fill out paperwork yourself. Read the guides, they are very helpful.
