What it is like at the Embassy in New Delhi

Hello NWDs!

My husband just came back from a long wait in the embassy line to get what he thought would be a copy of the interview letter. He waited in line from something like 7:00 am until 2:30 pm to speak to someone. He said the line was very long, no chairs, no food, no bathrooms within 20 mins. It was a mad house!

All them to give him some forms to fill out and give back to them on Friday. Since this was for the K3 visa, I told him the heck with that (we just wanted to know the interview date for the K3 and since he never got the letter he was going to check it out. We will just wait for the NVC to complete the CR1 and that is that. According to him this is the same line for the interviews too. The line had everyone from interview people, ones that did not get the letter, man whose dad is sick in the USA and wants to get any kind of visa he can, etc. He said there was talk in the line that they are suppose to change that sometime in the future to have different sections for people to go depending on what they were there for. But not yet. This doesn't look very promising. Anyway that is was the embassy looks like according to him. :help:

If anyone out there has any insight, please let me and future New Delhi interview participants know.
