Hi guys!

Need your help again...

Do I need to go to the SSA Office and have my status changed? Prior to having a green card, I had an EAD and SSN which says that it's only valid with work authorization. Do I need to have that changed now that I am a permanent resident?

Thanks!

P.S. let me know if this is off-topic for this forum...I know there is a SSN forum somewhere here and I could not find it...

It's still only valid with your work authorization (now a green card instead of an EAD)

the above poster is wrong.

Yes, you need to remove the conditions on your green card.

If you need more info, just visit the EAD forum...right below this forum. :)

The question was not about removing conditions on a green card, but getting a revised Social Security card.

Wow, I just meant to say removing the conditions on your social security card. Oupsie. :P

You got to SSA with your green card and ask them to do it.
