Hi guys!

Need your help again...

Do I need to go to the SSA Office and have my status changed? Prior to having a green card, I had an EAD and SSN which says that it's only valid with work authorization. Do I need to have that changed now that I am a permanent resident?

P.S. let me know if this is off-topic for this forum...I know there is a SSN forum somewhere here and I could not find it... :wacko:

Yes, you need to remove the conditions on your green card.

If you need more info, just visit the EAD forum...right below this forum. :)

Yes, you need to remove the conditions on your green card.

The question was not about removing conditions on a green card, but getting a revised Social Security card.

Wow, I just meant to say removing the conditions on your social security card. Oupsie. :P

You got to SSA with your green card and ask them to do it.
