Photographs

Due to my stupidity and ignorance, i used a ball point pen to write my name behind the photographs. Has anyone done this before and did not have any problems with their applications? Is there a reason why we must only write in pencil or a felt tip pen?

Not really an issue. They don't use the photos anyway, they take the ugly ones from biometrics and slap them on the EAD/GC.

Hehehehe..... I am the one who prepare for our photos, then sent it to my fiance. Anyway, I printed out the details in sticker paper, then put it at the back of the photos. It is more neat and they could easily read it, than handwriting.

There will be no problems with this, as long as you didn't press too much (ball point pens

can leave a mark on the other side -- face -- of the photo). That's the only reason they recommend

pencil or felt tip pen.
