K1 AoS Affidavit of Support

Hey, I'd just like to double check what I should be doing with the I-864 stuff, confused by the difference between using a joint sponsor and using the I-864A...

I've moved over to live with my fiancee and we're staying at her mother's house at the moment. My fiancee is working but her income alone can't meet poverty limits so for the K-1 we had her mother also fill in the affidavit for that, I-134. So the conclusion I've come to for the I-864 is that my fiancee fills in the I-864 as the petitioner (option a) and then her mother fills in an I-864A to include her income in my support. Is this right? Don't want to do that and then find out that I needed her mother to also fill in the I-864 as a joint sponsor, don't really understand the difference.

Sorry, she's my fiancee at the moment but we'll be married as of this coming Sunday and obviously won't be filing for AoS til after the wedding. Just trying to get everything together.
