IRS form 4506-T for I-864

My husband doesn't have his tax records from 2006 and 2005 so I filed the form 4506-T to get a transcript of his records weeks ago. It says on the form that it takes 10 days, well it has been at least 3-4 weeks and I still have not received them. Does anybody know how long it will be to arrive? I can't send in my paperwork for adjustment of status without it and it is really pissing me off. If I would have known about this I would have ordered it months ago. And to think I ordered my long form birth certificate back in the winter so I wouldn't have to wait and that only took 1 week to arrive.

Well my wife called in for 3 years of her transcript, using the IRS' automated phone system. She had them back within 2 weeks

Have you tried calling the IRS to make sure that they've received your request form?

I faxed in the form and had the transcripts in about 4 days. There are several addresses or fax numbers depending on the state where you live when you filed the particular tax return. Are you sure you used the right address? I would probably fax in another request, rather than mailing. Or call it in at 1-800-829-1040.
