Okay, so Mya and i went to do the mouth swab yesterday. It was a little more to it than i thought. They use 4 of those q-tip looking things to swab both cheeks, you have to have photo id. They take a picture of you too. Michael is going to do his today, that will be sent back via fedex today i hope. If it can be in the US by the end of this week, it would be so nice. Then it will be done by the end of next week and on it' way back to Guyana and Michael's visa can be issued quickly. Aww man, hurry, hurry, hurry.lol. Okay, i am a little anxious.

I'm sorry I haven't posted in a while. I got my interview date. Its on March 5. I came on here to post last week but I'm the type of person to keep this kind of stuff to myself and the nerves got the best of me. I am now preparing to go back down to GT for the interview...I am soooooo nervous. MrsRowe how long did it take for you to get your interview letter or for your hubby to get his? The weeks are going s fast...now I see how you felt last month I need prayer...

It appears to me that if the tow parties are at the interview then they may interrogate you a bit but as long as you are confident in your answers, there should be no problem. I will pray for you. One of us are getting through this process without any hitch. It's going to be you. Just be confident in your answers and you will be fine. Don't let them intimidate you.

They actually did ask all of these questions? That is outrageous and way too personal. It's funny cause they only asked my husband about 4 questions. I had already prepared him though, i told him that they may ask some pretty intimate questions however, he didn't have any of that. They were more interested in the DNA testing. If you need any help with reporting these things, i will help. They are going overboard.

Yes Mrs. Rowe - they really asked us some personal questions. We filed for our fiance visa in 2007 and we were denied last june. So we got married in October and I send in our application in january. So I hope to hear something by September from Vermont.

Onekea - congratulations on the interview date. Girl I hope this is over for you guys when you go over there. I'm still torn over us - the petitioner - being there.

I was worried about Mrs. Rowe not being there but it seemed to have work out for her. But I de talk to a lawyer and he said they CANNOT require that the petitioner be present at the time of the interview and if they we can issue a complaint because that is not the law. But I glad you going because we gan hear what more questions they does ask.

I tell Munesh tonight that they only ask Michael 4 questions! I gan still send the sample questions for him though. I need to prepare him as much as possible.

I was reading all the previous posts cuz I only found this the other night but my husband is just as bad as all the rest! It was funny reading about the procrastination and to know how mad I does get at Munesh for the same thing! It took him 3 months to send me 4 passport pictures!! I was furious!

Plus I like how I meet all you girls sponsoring your husbands. Last year when I got denied, I knew three of us girls that got denied for sponsoring our fiance's and I had to figure it was because we were females petitioning for a male. So I want see what will happen now. The embassy deh ask all ah we why we want be with these men - we're better than them! That's not their decision to make!

I feel that we are all paying because of the stupid things other people did. They ended up setting us up on the end. It is the ones that are faking their relationships that actually get off easily. Anyway, all of us that have struggled will eventually get by. Those questions they asked are too personal. How can they judge people when they flinch? I would be embarrassed too if someone was asking me intimate questions about my husband's and i sexual history because that is our business, not theirs. It seems to me that they cross the line. There is personal and then there is personal.

You are welcome suz. I am refiling myself I am getting the paper work ready to go now. Aside form the immigration the neighbors in GT that they are questioning are truly out of there minds talking about I don't know this person or that person. It is understandable that they would be hesitant is discussing the person , but why can't they just say I know him but I am not comfortable discussing it without knowning who you are...they are making things much more complicated. When this happens you have to get affidavit etc. which only make the process takes much longer.

The next time around I will do exactly what Mrs. Rowe has done stay here...we all live and we learn.

Already out for delivery. God is truly amazing. This process is moving faster than we thought. Michael sample was not supposed to be delivered until tomorrow but it is already out for delivery today. We are going to be done by the end of next week and the results will be sent back to the embassy visa Fedex by the end of next week. Oh my goodness. We are almost done. Wow. God is trully great. He is awesome.

Nikki - I don't know - I'm still worried about - more like undecided - about going for the second interview. I might go but not go into the embassy. If I'm not there they can't question me - right? I don't know - we will see. I have a long long wait from now to then.

You knwo what ladies, it all depends on the interviewer. If they are having a bad day, they make you have a bad day. That is the whole thing i think. All the evicdenc we had and they did not look at the package at all. Some people were grilled even when their spouse was not there but some were not. My husband was asked 4 questions. It all depends on the interviewer. I was afraid of them separating us and our answers messing up because we couldn't remember stuff that's why i didn't go. At least if they question the other person, they have nothing to match. I dont' know. It just depends on the interviewer i think.
