Hi fellow VJ'rs,

We're about to file my AOS, am confused how to file....

1. Will i use my married name or my maiden name in the form I-485?

2. Do we include the G-325 and the passport copy of my USC husband?

3. I've read in some forums that you have to your AOS before your I-94 expires? What if we cannot file it yet, as waiting for some funds to pay for the AOS? What is the consequences we have to face.

Thanks.....

u need to get married before your I-94 expired and 2 weeks before your I-94 expired you need to apply SSN.

2. Do we include the G-325 and the passport copy of my USC husband? No.

What is the consequences we have to face. You simply have to get married before the I-94 expires - to protect your legal status you should file AOS as soon as possible. See FAQ below.

Thanks.....

HI SIS,

1) Yeah you habve to use your married name already if and only if you have chosen to change it to your husband's last name

2) just have your G-325, not your husband but you will need to have a copy of your husband's passport.

3) If you came here by K1 visa your I-94 expires in 3months but you will still be here legally if youa re married within 90 days of your arrival.

guess you just have to do it just to make sure,,,:D

😁
