I am looking to finish up putting this petition together tonight, as I have been researching and putting this together for the past couple weeks, gathering information and all. But just a few questions before I wrap everything up.....

1) Should I be making copies of the cover letter, question 18 suppliment, letters of intent, and all the evidence instead of sending the originals and just saving all of the originals for my fiances interview??

2) Also, I have a regular birth certificate but read that it would be a good idea to send a certified copy. I went and got a certified copy made and plan to send that with this petition. Is it okay that I send the certified copy and a regular copy of my original birth certificate or should i just send regular black and white copies of these? If I do send the certified copy I was just going to send my fiance the copy of the certified copy and my original birth certificate...i would think this would be suitable enough, but I don't want to confuse the person reviewing our case.

3) Also, should I not included any phone records, emails, or personal letters until his interview? I read that I should be putting evidence of meeting in the past 2 years AND having proof of an ongoing relationship all put in this k-1 petition. But then I read that you should wait with this evidence. I am unsure as to why you wouldn't send any of this evidence in the first place. I would think that after you sent the petition you should start saving evidence of your ongoing relationship once the petition has been sent, so letters, phone records, and more emails dated after the petition was sent.

Thank you in advance for your shared wisdom and continued help towards me and my fiance!

send originals of the following:

cover letter

the I-129f form itself

the G-325a form (all four pages, one for each of you)

any supplement pages

letters of intent

send copies of:

evidence

2) Also, I have a regular birth certificate but read that it would be a good idea to send a certified copy. I went and got a certified copy made and plan to send that with this petition. a black and white photocopy of your certified copy is sufficient, as long as it is the "long form" that lists your parents' names.

They want to see copies of evidence that you have met in person in the last two years. Some people include varying amounts of ongoing relationship evidence, personal choice really. I think we included a couple of emails and some phone records, nothing too extensive.

Save the evidence of ongoing relationship for the interview. You only have to prove you met in the last 2 years. Make 2 copies of EVERYTHING you submit.

Save evidence from before and after submission.

Make some more trips if you can.
