letter from US embassy

Hi :) I just had my first day of medical exam today. I called US embassy last week if I can have my interview appointment, I was given interview date and operator said that I can bring the appointment confirmation email for my medical exam. The guard asked me to show the letter from US embassy but I don't have that since operator said that confirmation email can be use to process medical exam. I then showed the guard my deposit slip for my visa fee and the MNL case # which i just wrote in my notebook since email does not contain MNL case # info.

My question is, Is it true that I will no longer receive a letter from Embassy with the US embassy seal? Will this be required when I go for my interview? Will this be a problem? Until now, no letter from post office yet... what are your inputs about this? Thanks :)

asked ur hubby the letter that came from the NVC, the letter where they had your MNL CASE number. show that with the appointment letter that the USEM emailed on u. if u have that letter the better, but dont worry if the guard ask u then tell him that u didnt received it yet and all u have is ur NVC letter w/ur MNL CASE and your appointment. in my case i got a letter from the USEM, appointment by amail and i also include the letter from the NVC. good luck on your interview. hope this will help.

Thanks Bevs for your answer but do I need the letter from US embassy on my inerview? Thanks :)

If you haven't received your confirmation letter then just show them the NVC letter and appointment letter. Just explain to them that you haven't received your confirmation or eligibility letter. Just explain to the pre-screener if she/he will look for that letter. And hand them the NVC letter and appointment letter. Also called the hotline again and make a follow up call ask them where is your eligibility letter.

W ow ! !

VSC is really frustrating. I've read some posts that they've applied last July at CSC and they are already doing their medicals and interview soon. While on my case, we applied June and nothing happens yet.. No choice but have to wait and wait... Well help us God...

Anyone who has the same case here?

Hi Angel :) Thanks for the answer. However, my question is, will the consul need my eligibility letter? Will there be problems if i do not have my eligibility letter? I want to make sure I have everything I need for my interview... I see here that you had your interview and got pink slip :) Congrats.

Hi Steven & Hazel :) I read here that there had been delays in processing cases in VSC. I hope that your case will be processed soon. I understand how frustrating it is to wait... Keep praying... soon you will get your case approved. Goodluck and God bless you:)
