Hello everyone ! I now have my 10 years GC and i want to visit my family in Vietnam for 2 months so do I need to change my Vietnam passport to USA passport and if not do i have to get a visa stamp from Vietnam or USA ? Or anything else i need to know so i can travel to visit Vietnam and come back to the USA ? Thank for your help . Dave and Diep

YOU ARE NOT A US CITIZEN. Only US Citizens can get US Passports. Green-card is NOT citizenship.

If you want a US passport you need to file N-400 to naturalize and can apply for a US passport after you become a US Citizen.

If you want to travel to home country you use your current Vietnam passport no need for a visa, you use your green-card to exit Vietnam, and re-enter the USA.
