our aos on hold because they sent out a RFE letter but we have not receive it yet

-how long RFE letter take in the mail to arrive

-what happen if we do not receive the letter,or what should we do

-how long the experatiopn date to submit a response to RFE

-i am, out of usa now ,and on k-3 visa ,what happen if the aos denied ,will I be able to renter to usa or not

-how long can i stay out the country on k-3 visa and be able to renter usa

please help with these question ,i really need your help to figuer out what what i am doing

I dont have ansewrs to all the questions but here is what i know :

you have 87 days to respond to an REF

you can't overstay over 6 months out of the US unless you are a US citizen.if i wrere you i would come back to the US as soon as I can especially you have been notified you will receive an REF .

William, I don't have all the answers to your questions either, but I know it takes about 5 business days for the RFE letter to arrive in the mail. If you see it online that a RFE letter is mailed, you should wait for at least a week before getting worried. And yes, you have 87 days to respond.

In my case, I NEVER received the RFE letter, instead it went directly to my lawyer's office. I don't know if you used one... If so, it may go directly to the law office instead of to your residence.

  • RFE: 2008-09-19
  • Biometrics Appt. : 2008-09-23
  • RFE Mailed: 2008-10-06

-what happen if we do not receive the letter,or what should we do Is there a reason why you might not get it? Did you move? You did receive your NOA right?

-how long the experatiopn date to submit a response to RFE 90 days

-how long can i stay out the country on k-3 visa and be able to renter usa Reentry permit may be required for stays of 1 year or more - how long did you intend to stay out?

please help with these question ,i really need your help to figuer out what what i am doing
