hi everybody!

i'm leaving in 4 weeks (but i dread it haha, just ask me why lol) but i still have no idea what to pack besides the usual stuff: birth certificate, diplomas and toiletries..

my mommy tells me everyday that i should start packing but i feel clueless..

help me out pleaseeee.....

and i have no luck in finding an active thread for those who are leaving this november. it would be great if i find somebody who's here in VJ and who is gonna have the same flight as mine. :whistle:

K1 TIMELINE

04.08.08 - i-129f sent to vermont

04.10.08 - i-129f NOA 1

05.15.08 - i-129f NOA 2

05.20.08 - NVC received

06.10.08 - medical exam, paid for document verification

06.17-19.08 - needed to go back for sputum exam

06.19.08 - scheduled interview (POSTPONED due to sputum exam)

07.08 - my fiance's deployed to russia

08.26.08 - 2nd medical exam completed at st. lukes, NEGATIVE SPUTUM EXAM

08.29.08 - interview at USEM (with PINK SLIP!)

09.03.08 - at 3pm, USEM released passport for delivery - accdg to Delbros' website

09.06.08 - US visa in my hands (with 11.15.08 as expiration date)

AOS TIMELINE

01.30.09 - date of marriage

02.04.09 - sent requirements for AOS

02.06.09 - requirements received by USCIS

02.10.09 - notice date for biometrics

02.24.09 - BIOMETRICS SCHEDULE

04.13.09 - EAD AT HAND

07.08.09 - INTERVIEW @ MT. LAUREL, NJ

07/24/2006 GC arrived

05/02/2007 Driver's License - Passed Road Test!

05/27/2008 Lifting of Conditions sent (TSC > VSC)

06/03/2008 Check Cleared

07/08/2008 INFOPASS (I-551 stamp)

07/08/2008 Driver's License renewed

04/20/2009 Lifting of Conditions approved

prepare a lists of your fave stuff like shoes,clothes, pinoy food,etc..dont forget also your importand documents like school records, employment certificate, birth cert etc.. if i were you I should start packing now so you won't get panick when the time comes.

10-25-07 -NOA2

11-01-07- My fiance got a letter from NVC that within 2 weeks Manila Consulate will send my Packet

11-20-07- Date of my Packet, actually the real one was earlier but it was sent somewhere, good thing my Fiance arrived to spent Thanksgiving day in Phils and we checked the status in Embassy.

11-23-07- Medical though the exact date was Nov. 29..

12-06-07- Interview

12-16-07- Visa in hand

01-16-98- Attended CFO

01-18-08- Arrived in USA , POE-Guam

03-16-08- Wedding

AOS

04-17-08- Submitted the AOS

04-24-08- NOA

05-13-08- Biometrics

05-27-08- Transferred to California

06-14-08- EAD card received

07-21-08- Date of AOS approval but got the letter July 24

No Interview, No RFE and Additional Vaccination( just used the SLEC medical docs)

07-22-08- Date of Permanent REsident CARd , got it July 29

07-31-08- apply for SSN

08-05-08-SSN delivery

01-12-09- First day of work(Thanks to Marielle and Mario)

If your shoe size is below 5 1/2, make sure you bring a good selection of shoes with you. Marlene wears size 4 - 4 1/2 shoes and generally cannot find them here. She had to wait until we went back for visits to buy new shoes. Even in the Philippines it can be a challenge to find her size, but we can find them there.
