No new deaths to report today.

I begged her to come home last night but her fear of getting her visa pulled and losing her ability to come and visit the US was stronger than her fear of the gun violence in TJ.

She went to her apartment in TJ locked the doors and windows and huddled in bed for the night. She will be spending the night here today.

Got a call from my wife last night. She was very scared; there was another attack in TJ close to where she works. The following link is to the photo gallery of the attack. Atacan restaurante, dejan un muerto y un lesionado

It's hard on me. I feel helpless with the random violence going on there. I could only sing her to sleep over the phone.

It's a shame that anyone has to live under such lawless conditions. The cartels are in control, not the Mexican government. Too much $$$ at stake and no regard for human life.
