Forgive me if this if off-topic for this part of the forums but I had a question regarding my wifes entry here in the U.S. She will be entering on a CR-1, other than applying for her SSN and waiting for her "greencard" to arrive is there anything we need to be aware of or need to prepare for within say the first 90 days if her being here? I understand that she will be a Conditional Resident for the next two years i believe, but is there anything immediate that we should be cognizant of or can prepare for? FYI: We will be entering the country on Oct. 24th

Filed: Citizen (apr) Country: China
Timeline

Note: CR-1 do not "Adjust Status" AOS is the process a K-Visa holder goes through to get green-card, CR-1 gets "Green-Card" on entry, NO AOS, you may have wanted to post this to "IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa General Discussion" forum.

If you check the SSN card box on DS-230, then a card should be mailed within 30 days of entry, CR-1 gets I-551 "Green-card" stamp making passport act as a temp green-card, this allows work, or travel.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

Yeah I knew we didnt have to adjust status we just have to remove conditions in two years thats why I was wary of posting this here. As for the SSN box being checked I will have to look back at my records as to whether we did so, Im thinking we did but I would have to check that. Thanks for your reply though. Maybe i will ask this or a similar question in the other forum as you suggested, thanks again.
