I never thought CT was cheap. I love some of the neighborhoods though. The houses are HUGE

Me too!

I used to babysit / dogsit in Westport a lot when I was in my early 20s - That was the life - I made killer money, had a huge house with pools, tennis courts, hot tubs, Porsches to drive, housekeepers,....... I was flying high!

Very very hard - especially when it was only dog sitting - This one family used to have me stay with their puppy - and stock the house with food plus pay me - I felt like I should be paying them for staying there!

Very very hard - especially when it was only dog sitting - This one family used to have me stay with their puppy - and stock the house with food plus pay me - I felt like I should be paying them for staying there!

I did that a few times in my teens. I had this condo to myself with all their amentities.....pool, tennis courts, the whole house. I didn't get their car though. And, the puppy was so darn sweet. I wanted to lock up the house and just steal the dog.

LOL - it was very hard to adjust to reality - especially since I was around 19 and living in my parents home - I moved out a few years after that, and then reality really really hit home! One bedroom, freezing apartment!
