my wife is here on a K-1 visa and i was wondering if she needs another examination. i read somewhere that we can just send the DS-3025 form off that the doctor in colombia gave her. the problem with that though is that it says on all the vaccinations NOT AGE APPROPRIATE. i'm so confused. then i call a doctor today and he tell me it will cost $650 to do fill out I-693

As long as her medical exam was done less than a year ago, you can send in a copy of her DS-3025 she got at the time of her medical unless she needs anyone of these:

Rotavirus (children only)

Hepatitis A (not needed unless the beneficiary has lived in a region where Hepatitis A is easily contracted)

Meningococcal (children between 2-18 years old or people who have been exposed to meningitis)

Human papillomavirus (women who are 26 years-old or younger)

Zoster (people who are over 60 years of age)

In that case, she would have to get the vaccine and have it appoved by a civil surgeon. There's many people here on VJ who use the doctor from Austin, TX because they only charge $25:
