I've been searching the forums for a post that had an interview with someone who used to work at one of the service centers.

Somehow I can't locate it. If anyone could kindly point me in the right direction I would appreciate it!

One thing to keep in mind is that the thread is a few years old. From what I've heard on here, some of the recommendations in there (a Congressional intervention, for example) don't work anymore--there's no way to speed it up unless you qualify for an exemption. Good luck!!!

I'm forwarding it along to my parents, so they can get a better idea of the process we're going through.

After 2 months of constantly having to explain the whole process over and over again, I'm sending them 1 email with the timeline, our progress, and how the system works. My dad seems to think I should "just call USCIS and yell at them."
