Have a question: I filed i-29f for fiance, but now have to move, and have not gotten NOA1 yet. I know I will need to change the address, but can't do it yet because I don't have case number. Will post office forward NOA1? If not, how will I know when they got it? (i guess if the check is cashed..) but the case number?

Anybody had to deal with that? Thanks!

It will not be forwarded. If you no longer live there, it will be returned as undeliverable.

Surely if you set up a mail forwarding order it will be forwarded, or are the notices from the USCIS stamped as "Do not forward"?

This shouldn’t be a problem if you used a personal check. You can get the receipt # when your check is cashed, then with that number call them and update your address.

Contact your loca USCIS office, i believe there is a form you can fill out. i don't remember what it is but there is one. You need to hurry up though.

This is exactly what happened to us. The letter will be returned as undeliverable but not to worry. Contact the service centre with the change of address and they will update their records. You don't need the case number. You may even catch them before they send the letter out so contact them right away.
