Howdy,

I'm new to this, but we sent the AOS last week and they cashed the check today !! YAY :dance: . is that a good news?? what is going to happen next??? My husband is f1 student in status (junior) now and we would like to visit his country for the winter break, do you guys think that it's not a good idea? because we heard that they might be chances that he can be stuck in there. We got a reason to accelerate the AP.

Another question, he is paying an excessive amount of money as an international student, when will he be able to pay instate fees since we live together and we have a son. I'm a student also by the way we met on campus (L)

After check was cashed you'll have your NOA1 in the mail soon..I think with regards to the tuition fees, I think it depends on the university/college..most university will require you to provide proof of at least 1 year of residing in the state, driver's license etc, before they will consider you to pay the resident rate which is almost less than half of what the non-resident student pays.

Dec 17, 2008---WELCOME NOTICE RECEIVED

Jan 9, 2009---CARD RECEIVED FINALLY! Approval date 12-10-08..expires on 12-10-10

09/20/2008 - Got a letter saying they are working on my I-765 actively and there's nothing they could do, I have to wait for 6 more months till I'm "out of the" timeline again GRRRRRRRRRRR
