So, you think if the sexes in the joke were reversed, it would stll be considered just as funny? The women here would not consider it offensive?

I'm not going to speak for "the women here", but the joke wouldn't even make sense in the first place if the sexes were reversed.

I could say I'm going to get hubster to clean the bathroom with the influence of a frying pan to his head....doesn't mean I'm ACTUALLY going to do it.

There has to be some wiggle room in jokes like these, where it's still light-hearted before becoming uncomfortable. If the joke went on to say "so I beat the ####### out of him until he was a bloddy mess on the floor"...that would be uncomfortable and too graphic.
