We filed for our 2005 taxes last month. Do we have to wait for a response from the IRS (notice letter or something) for filing Affidavit of Support for AOS application? OR is the File Copy of our taxes the one they need?

Please advice. Thanks

Aug 16 06 - Mailed AOS by Fedex 2Day

Aug 25 06 - NOA for AOS & EAD

Aug 30 06 - Received mail for Biometrics Appointment

Sept 6 06 - AOS Transferred to CSC

Sept 9 06 - Biometrics Appointment

Nov 03 06 - EAD APPROVED!!!! WOOOOOOOOOOT!

Nov 20 06- AOS APPROVED!!!! OMG THANK YOU! THANK YOU THANK YOU! ..now just waitin for d card to arrive ^_^

update* card arrived after a few days :)

You say 'file copy'.

If you're referring to a photocopy of what you submitted to the IRS for 2005, then that's what the USCIS wants. Otherwise they'll send you an RFE.
