Hello Everyone,

I am new to this forum but found many post from here helpful and even though i see the obvious positve and also frustrating results for some it all turns out well in the end which is quite reassuring.

My visa petition was filed september 2007 and i was called scheduled for interview in April, later scheduled to june.

The visa interview went well.

I arrived the United states June 26th

Got married August 2nd, because my husband had to take time from school and work.

We waited forever after then to get the original certified marriage certificates which we ordered.

Finally came... so we sent off the : 1-485, EAD and AP on 08/12/2008 with all necessary documents that was requested for, and tracking shows it was recieved 08/15/2008.

i discovered on the 14th the i didnt sign the biometric form so made copies of another and was sent to same address chicago on the 15th with a brief note indicating that the biometric form enclosed was not signed. I did this to prevent them from mailing it back and dont know how effective that is.

Now i am nervous about the waiting period and how the interview would be. And dont know if my not signing the first biometric fee would be a problem.

Can anyone talk sense into me? As i seem to be worried and dont know what Atlanta waiting period is.

Beauty.

in the first package we sent the biometric data form i filled was not signed, i filled another form and signed it and then we sent a new mail to the chicago office with a note indicating that this form be replaced with the other one, its same form just that this copy is signed and the other one was not signed.

you meant the biographic data form not biometric form (cuz there is none).... otherwise known as the g-325a.

FWIW, the chances of your newly signed g-325a catching up to your original file is slim...

YMMV

no not necessarily... all you can do is wait to see if it generates an RFE or not. If you are scheduled for an interview, you can sign it there
