I called NVC to check up on the fiance visa and they said that it has already been forwarded to the consul on Friday...! However, when I spoke to the woman on the phone she had indicated that they would send both my fiance and I information and that I would have a choice at that time to make myself the person whom they contact for anything needed for the visa instead of my fiance. This would probably work better as my fiance is...well he calls himself a brut because he is far from computer savvy and doesn't understand any of these forms. However, I am afraid if I am the person that they are sending all this stuff to, that it will take much longer because I imagine that they are mailing to me from the US consul in his country. Does anyone have any experience with this? I'm being told on this website to send all the info to my fiance but NVC says different...
