hi,

my i 130 petition was approved on 5th of september.

when i called them on 9th and after giving them my uscis receipt number, they said that they received the petition but the visa number is not generated as it will take some time.

then when i called after 3 days on 12th and then on today, they are saying that it is not received yet,

there is nothing showing in their system when they put my uscis number.

guys what is this confusion all about.

why did they confirm that they have received the petition and then now they are saying that they are not seeing anything in the system.

please help.

thank you,

It can take a few weeks to get transferred from CSC to NVC.

I believe they ship them in bulk and the centers are over 3000 miles from each other CSC is southern California, NVC is in New Hampshire, this can take well over a week to ground ship, and CSC does not ship every day.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.
