Questions about POE

Hi guys, this is carlos and I have too many questions

Trin will have the interview one week from today and I am booking the flight tonight.

The airline is NWA all the way from Manila to Dallas but theres a plane change in Detroit.

*Is her Port Of Entry going to be Detroit or Dallas??

*If it is Detroit, how long would they keep us in Immigration office? (to chose a flight with enough time between flights)

*Will she be asked what will be her POE during or after the interview or does she have to show the ticket?

Any post will be helpful, Thanks

It's in Detroit. Mine was Dallas. I had to wait 1 hour so better have few hours lay over so she won't miss her flight.

My husband was waiting in Dallas so I did not have problems.

Thanks for the post civiram,

Our options are: 3 or 7 hours lay over.

What would be your advise?

Hi! I think she needs to write the POE in one of those DS forms I forgot which form is it. She does not have to show her ticket. The embassy even discouraged buying tickets before getting visa.

I think she will need to write the POE at the CFO papers.

Wow! I wish she will have 4 hrs lay over in my opinion. As for me it took me 1.5 hours waiting in there and I do not know if she will transfer to other building. Maybe other vjers will have their opinions too.
