POE, is this right?

My wife entered the US under K-1 Visa today (went through Dallas TX). She didn't receive any documents from the custom officer. The officer kept all documents that she got back from the consulate. Does this sound about right? I thought she would receive some sort of form or reference number for the next step?. Thanks.

If you're asking about the brown envelope, I don't remember for sure about what they kept or gave us. At LAX they stapled the I-94 to her passport and stamped it. You need that number and on her passport K1 visa is the A number for AOS. They didn't keep the Xray that we carefully hand carried from HCMC. You should have the original I-129f and evidence in your possesion.

Yes, they took all that stuff in the brown envelope at the POE. They will forward that stuff to the appropriate local office.

They kept a lot of our documents also. Even kept original translations of fiancées birth certificate and id. I hope they forward all that for the AOS.
