Hello All,

I just got off the phone with another really nice rep at the NVC. She told me that our letters where done today, the case should leave for the embassy tomorrow, and my husbands interview date is Oct. 22nd. London is moving right along!!

I kept telling myself to wait until tomorrow to call because that would be a week from the approval & I'm glad that I didn't!! I also verified that they had my husbands new address since he moved about 6 weeks ago. The update was sent via email just as instructed. They still had the old address on file. Since I called tonight and they just did the letters today she took the new address to update the the letter. If you've sent in an address change...lesson learned here...call them and verify that they have it.

I AM SO EXCITED!! I want to call my husband so bad but it is 2:15am there. I'll just have to hold it in until he calls to wake me in the morning.

8/19/08 mailed packet 2 back to NVC (request for DS230 BIO & I-864 AOS)

8/26/08 NVC received packet 2 (request for DS230 BIO & I-864 AOS)

9/05/08 Case Complete at NVC

9/13/08 Case to leave NVC

9/15/08 Case received at US Embassy - London

9/20/08 Received Interview letter in US from NVC

9/29/08 Received Interview letter "pkt 4" in UK from NVC...

(no "Pkt.3" really, Interview letter just directed us to web for medical details)

10/10/08 Medical Exam

10/22/08 Interview: US Embassy - London / APPROVED

10/23/08 Visa in hand

10/30/08 POE: Chicago O'Hare

REMOVING CONDITIONS

10/12/10 packet sent UPS

10/13/10 packet received at VSC

10/20/10 check cashed for I-751 fee

Congrats and good luck!

So glad to see so many moving after the August slow down.

Good luck and try to stay patient. It helps if you don't count the days. * Mine and hubby's only took 386 days from receipt of 129F to interview!* :wacko:

6/26 NVC - RFE uggh - wants all three years of Federal tax return listed and they lost originals or so they say - DING DING ROUND TWO

7/25 NVC Case completed whooottttttttt

It's the worse feeling ever when you know some good news and you cant get hold of the other half to tell. My huband writes in his emails, "dont call me too early, unless it's an emergency".

Bless him, last week i calculated the time difference wrong and woke everyone up....whoooops!!!! LOL

Thank you to everyone for all of the support!! We have a great bunch of people here!!

The night of this post I emailed my husband and told him that I had tried to call the NVC but was having trouble getting through. The man that he is and knowing me...he knew that I would not give up trying. When he got up the next morning he checked here for my post and knew about his interview before we even spoke that morning. :star: By the time he phoned to wake me he already had his medical booked and train booked. :dance: We are so excited! This has been such a long time coming! Looks like we will finally be under one roof and in one country by the end of October. :dance::dance:

I wish the best for all of you that are working through this process!! Do your best to stay positive and believe me I KNOW that can be difficult.

I'll keep you posted on the progress. I understand how much it can help to see what is happening with other cases. :thumbs:
