hi...I hope you can share somethings with me...

I'm presently in the Philippines but i'll be leaving soon for work in UK..and i'll be staying there for a year...

I'm engaged with a US citizen and his planning to petition me and submitting the papers by November.

Can He submit it in the US embassy in London instead of US Embassy in Manila since im in UK?

And i'm planning to see him and get a tourist visa mid next year too..would that be ok?

Thank you very much..hope to get valuable suggestions....

Best to get 3 certified copies of all the NSO documents relating to your case before you leave Plus get NBI clearance which is good for one year.

Fiance will submit the petition to his USCIS service center in the US.

I'm still wondering if my visa application can be process in London instead of processing it in my native country....

If i'll just go back to my native country on the time of the interview and medical exams...will i have problems since i went out of the country for work prior to the application?

This is from the American Embassy in Australia, It seems as if this is how it works in most countries: (I am South African and living and working in South Korea and has indicated that I will be using the Seoul, Korea Embassy)

Q: Can a third country national (not a permanent resident of Australia) apply for an immigrant visa in Australia?

A: In some cases. First, that person must show that they have permission from the Australian Department of Immigration to remain in Australia for 6 months or longer. Depending on the immigrant visa category involved, it is possible that we would accept that person’s immigrant visa application. In general, however, the person must have some ties to Australia; that is, some reason for being here beyond applying for the visa.

Therefor. If you are going to be in the UK to work and plan to be there for longer than 6 months you are allowed to use the UK Embassy.
