Hi,

Im currently in the process of applying for a K1 visa and im in australia - can anyone from AUS tell me how long the medical took (was it all done on the day or did it take a week or two to get everything from them?) and also how long was it from when you sent the letter to the embassy to tell them you had all your documents until the interview date? any info would be great...!

Hi lachlan

Getting the results back from the medical will vary from state to state. Im in NSW and my medical results were mailed out to me a couple of days after the medical. I could of gone and picked them up myself as well. US Consulate in Sydney is pretty quick on interview dates but I cant remember off hand, sorry, as I am CR-1. There is a lot of information you can gain about this interview process within australia, by coming and joining us in the LAND DOWNUNDER thread.

Are you aware of the DCF process and how easy it is to do here in Australia?
