Welcome to VJ and to the US Brahim! You will find us a lively bunch, and yes sometimes we disagree, but the support here is wonderful.

'Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Chardonnay in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming 'WOO HOO, What a Ride'

marhaba!!! Welcome to the US

It sounds like you are doing just about everything that you can right now.

The forum for K 1 is a good place and you might get better answers there!

I may be incorrect but I don't think that you can adjust your status until you and your fiance actually get married. If I am correct than until you marry, after Ramadan (Ramadan mabrouk by the way) you won't be able to send those papers.

Filling in your profile and timeline will help us all to help you more - Knowing how you came, when you came, the papers you sent, the airport you arrived, etc will get you much more information!!!

I hope that your journey continues to go well!! And an early congratulations on your marriage.. Mabrook!! (F)

 I agree!

Welcome to VJ and the US...and mabrouk on your upcoming marriage. You have recieved some good advice here. My hubby came on a K1 and we had to marry first then adjust....so follow the steps you've seen above and ask any questions as they come up on your journey!

BTW---inshallah all goes well with your driving exam. (F) At least there are road rules and for the most part they are followed here in the US so you will find driving here pretty pleasant...I think :innocent:
