Yesterday the Embassy called and said to bring Haydar's passport in and we would get it back in 5 business days. Today he dropped it off and was told "one more thing" had to be done but it would be quick.

Anyone know what this one more thing is? We were told AP was complete already. Are they running info on the new passport? Could it still be done within 5 business days? Ahhh!

Cassandra, as I have heard "one more thing" nearly every time my husband has gone to submit his passport, I know how you are feeling. The truth is until they are done with all their processes, it does not matter if your brought in the Pres with you to the embassy, they will not issue the visa.

I BELIEVE that they are doing the CLASS check right now. This is the last clearance they do after taking the passport and before issuing the visa.

It should not take long as your fiance finished his security check quickly, hinting he does not have a common name - it will help you to get a quick clearance with CLASS.

I believe you should get this visa by end of September as they like to make processes a week or two. We are of coarse hoping for earlier.

God bless,

Tam

AP: Over 1 year.

Visa: Nov 2

US Entry: Nov 13, Alhamdulillah.
