Based from what I read from posts of others VJ members who got white slip they normally received their visa a week or two after USEM received the DV result. God bless you!

2 weeks the most. it's a case to case basis actually but who knows you will receive the visa this week.

i spoke to PJ at the NSO also. i really do hope we finally receive good news. i guess i'm always the exception to the rule, though. you guys said that it takes about 1 - 2 weeks after the embassy gets the DV results for the visa to be released. 2 weeks at most? it's been 3 weeks since they received our results. i'll make sure to call them tonight.

mymee, congrats. hopefully you guys don't have to go through what we've gone through. they just had to verify that he was never married before, which he wasn't, so i'm not sure what else is holding us up. i hope your fiance does get his visa as his birthday present.

Who do i talk to at NSO and what is the phone number? I called NSO and they would not answer my questions. I also called Delbros but dont have a contact number as Delbros.

Can someone help me with names, contact numbers at NSO and Delbros. Larraine at USEM said on 15 Aug Doc request made. But i have no confirmation from Delbros, NSO that this has occured.

Anyone help?

Call PJ Sanchez at NSO 011 632 926 7333. He's very helpful. He isn't available until after 10AM Manila time. If not him, look for the Director Lourdes Hufana, she apparently doesn't go into work until 10 or 11. First, though, you have to call Delbros, 011 632 339 2761 and ask for the Document Verification Dept. They are not as willing to help you but if you hold your ground, they will finally cooperate with you. You have to ask them for the exact date of when the doc verification request was sent to NSO because PJ says that's the only way he could find the status. I spoke to Anna Magsambol and she was actually the one who was able to tell me the exact date of when my fiance's DV results were sent to the Embassy as well. Apparently, the other person in charge of DV at Delbros is RayAnn Gatchalian. It seems that there's no way you could get answers from either the NSO or Delbros until after 10 or 11AM. Good luck. Yup, per Grace, the case has been back with the Consular Officer since August 26 and that it would take another week or two but maybe more maybe less because there are no guarantees. I asked for the Officer's name since we are entitled to that per the Freedom of Information Act but she said she has to get the Officer's permission first and he/she isn't there yet.

By the way, if anyone is interested, Grace said that an inquiring fax could be sent to 011632 301 2599 Attn. Consular Officer. She told me the team number that's handling my fiance's case so that the fax could get to the right group. So if you guys speak to them again you might want to know what team your consular officer is in if you're interested in sending a fax.
