Ours has been there for two weeks. Just found out. We are all set for our interview and just waiting on that. :(

Here's a link showing the security checks at different parts of the process.

By reading that and searching here it seems some are just chosen at random for checks , some are flagged on the way by and some get flagged with the new checks....

In any case, nobody knows how long. Hopefully very quick!

Can anyone tell me what "Administrative Processing" is at the NVC, how long does it take, and what is the reason for it. NVC has had my approved K1 petition now for over 4 weeks.

I really appreciate your reply. The link you provided was very helpfull. My girl thinks it is because of the huge age differance between us. I am 51 and she is 21. lol. Anyway thanks again and good luck to you both. Daniel
