Are documents such as joint bank account ect ect for proof of common residence and things such as marriage photos and proof of genuine marriage needed only at the interview stage or do they need to be included in the AOS submission? Thanks

Hmm We haven't submitted those, except for passport photos and marriage certificate

Im in the middle of hte same process, you wont need that unless is required by them if u get to have an interview!

Just send whatever the guides and uscis intrsuctions ask for..

You wont need pics or common residence proofs at this point!
