hi all

i am here to share with u my case detail and get some assistance at this stage as its too hard to wait any more now....

STORY: i was interviewed last year n the month of February(06 Feb:2007) at the US Embassy Islamabad for the k3 spousal visa and was told that it would take 45 days for the embassy to complete the additional administrative process and respond to me.....more i was handed over a blue sheet 221g asking me to provide a cosponsor....so with n 2 weeks after my interview i provided them the cosponsor docs and they confirmed the receipt/acceptance of it when i emailed them....in June 2007 some persons from embassy visited my village and inquired about my family and my relationship and got clear report from there...after that each time i emailed the embassy they used to tell me that its Pending for admin processing .....i had been calling/emailing embassy and DOS continuously and got the same wording again and again....the embassy is no more replying to emails....after some 16 months in pending when i called Department of state in July 2008 i was told that the case is out of pending and that its now under process....i am calling DOS every week (some times twice a week )and now listening to this different sentence that its now under process....when i called DOS this week (22 august 2008)......i was told that its still under process....when i asked that why my case took so much time....the lady(DOS) told me that the embassy had sent a follow up with ur case ....she did not explain it..and did not tell me that how much time more it can take.....so now i am confused that

1: what is this follow up sent by embassy to DOS...?...is it a review?....if its review then how much time it can take more??

2: Any think u can share with me keeping in view my situation.

3: when they say the case is under review does it mean that all the checks have been done???

Any help will be greatly appreciated

Wish u all a happy life with loved one

........shah

under process

thanks for ur suggestion jummy but I am not sure that senator or congressman can really help in this matter...besides this its not that easy to contact them...my wife sent an email to her congressman but they could not even reply to our email....

definitly get ahold of the congressmen, yes they can help at this stage in the process. have your wife CALL her congressmen and they will be able to direct her on what info she needs to send them from there.
