Hi everyone I started this topic for all the people recieving pink and white slips from the US Manila Embassy. My wife had her interview AUG 22 and recieved pink slip and white slip asking for another document. They wanted a orginal 864 form, which I sent to NVC with a copy but I guess they sent the copy lol. So anyway I will send that to her and hopefully she will get her Visa:-) So im curious about others experiences at the Manila Embassy and what happened, and how long it took them after they sent them the documents they ask for from the white slip to get there visa.

Hi,

I also had my interview Aug 22 and I also got a pink slip and white paper for additional document. Did your wife get her passport back? I did and that made me worried but since I was also asked to pay the visa delivery fee, like everyone said here, I thought I'd be ok just need to submit the required doc asap.

Good luck to us!!! :)

Hi there David, congratulations.

I was wondering why consul-usem required additional document of your I-864 since you submitted one already to NVC. Does NVC didnt forward it to USEM that's why the latter ask one again? or does your wife has no photocopy of it? Im totally confused because we're supposed to submit all pertinent documents to NVC and got case completed. These are the forms that I have with me, related to ur concern David:

1. Co-sponsor's photocopy of I-864 (laters version) and Original copies signed by the preparor of Form 1040 U.S Individual Tax Income Return, year 2007, 2006 & 2005

2. Husband's photocopy of I-864 (latest version) and original copy signed by the preparor of Form U.S Individual Tax Income Return yr. 2007

Do you think the consul-usem will honor/acknowleldge said documents stated-above? Please help I dont want to get a white slip as much as possible. Thanks

You think the consul will

Hi Filiricans, the doc she asked is a letter from the federal agency administering my hubby's disability benefits although my hubby had an explanation letter with his AOS and other proofs too. He was also surprised since his AOS has been approved already by the NVC.

They didn't ask me for any other document not even copies. Only the appointment letter from NVC and our pictures. Good luck to us!!!

Hi Red Earth, they also gave my wife back her passport, but told her everything is fine they just want a original 864 which I sent and my wife should get Tuesday then she will just turn that in at the Embassy Wensday;-)

She got a pink slip and white slip to, but im sure both her and you will get visa soon because you both got a pink slip and paid delivery fee.

Hi there MJ3, I completely understand your sentiments as I have the same concerns too. I will be having my interview very soon though we submitted all original copies to NVC already, but on the other hand it is always better to be on the safe side so I prepared the following docs for my actual interview:

Principal Applicant's Major Requirements:

1. NVC Appointment Letter

2. Original NSO Marriage Certificate

3. Original NSO Birth Certificates (CR1 & CR2)

4. June 2008-NBI Clearance (submitted to NVC dated January 2008 more than 6 mos. already)

5. New set of DS-230 Part I & II

6. Divorce Decree (photocopy but notarized)

7. 2x2 Photo ID w/ white background

8. Delbros Metrobank deposit slip

9. Evidence of genuine relationship/marriage such as: pics, letters/cards, emails, remittances, phone bills, dsl bills, chatlogs etc.

Petitioner's Legal Documents: (Hubby & Co-sponsor)

1. Notarized & Original signed I-864 & I-864A

2. W-2 Income and Wage Statement (IRS Letter Head Estate of FL)

3. Form 1040 U.S. Individual Income Tax Return (original signed by the preparor of tax)

4. Federal Income Tax Return (IRS Letter Head Estate of FL)

5. Certificate of Employment (Original and notarized)

6. Photocopies of pay stubs (latest 3 months)

Hope this will helps. Good luck to all of us.

Footnote: May be other CR1's done with the interview/s may have something to add to the above-stated docs.

As for me, they did not ask for any copies of all the docs that we sent to NVC. They only asked for my Appointment Letter, our pictures, and the Metrobank receipt. They didn't ask for other proofs but its better to be ready.

However, the Consul requested for an additional doc from my husband which is not a general requirement.
