I flew Korean Air, and it was infinitely better than American Airlines. The stewardesses are very nice, and even though I flew economy, I didn't feel like I was being shafted (which was the case with AA). The food was okay (and so was the wine that came with my dinner), and so was the entertainment. I think the only problem I had was that I didn't always understand what the stewardesses were asking (the accent!)

Well when I first visited PI, I took Korean Airlines roundtrip..So when i left PI, went to Korea airlines to stop over there, It's a nice airport, big and clean and very modern airport. The stewardes were very nice and all, they greeted you hello and goodbyes, but yeah sometimes i dont hear them well because they kinda speak low, food was ok, the seat was uncomfortable for me just because the person i was sitting next with was hogging the arm rest and the passenger behind me was very annoying kicking the seat a lot, and most annoying is the front seat of me who had to put his seat all the way back leaving me no space at all...huhu..it was so uncomfortable where i sitted, and then watching movies there was terrible, I probably the only one who experienced malfunctioning tv monitor cuz I dnt see any pictures but i hear them, so i tend to listen to the radio the whole time..

So yeah..I had visited PI twice with different airlines and I must say I'd like Cathay Pacific better than Korean airlines.

Never used Korean Air. But I've used NWA and Hawaiian Airlines, and I like Hawaiian Airlines better. It seems like you're just shopping around for airline experience before making your purchase.. B) So, I'll share my experience..

When ever I used NWA, I always ended up stopping in Japan, which has a very nice and clean airport. But, the last time I used them, coming from Japan to the US, it seemed like all the stewardess that were going to retire that year was hosting that flight..

Hawaiian Airlines, stops where else :) .. in Honolulu(and this will be your POE, so if you're looking for a different POE, then this would not be a good choice). The only reason I really like Hawaiian Air better is they serve filipino food, and the captain will make announcements in English and Tagalog. And, another plus, is that the stewards have the Island hospitality, very nice and always smiling..

Good luck in what ever your choice is..

I flew here by Korean Air and I had a good experience with them.

The flight attendants are very accommodating. They give a good service.

My favorite airline as of the moment.

I used Korean Air 5 TIMES so far and I give them 5 stars... One time they had a breakdown in one of the connecting flights to manila Korean air put me in a 5 star hotel (Raddison) for the night free of charge and I got a 3 course gourmet meal free of charge as well the room value was 250 a night(if i was to pay for it but i didn't korean air covered everything) and I was very impressed.... All the other times great service great everything I'm totally hooked on korean air....... To me any other airline is just a rip off..... Also, U can get great deals on korean air too if you look for the Q class seats

Just to share. My flight to Chicago was very late (1 1/2 ... with only a 2 hour lay-over) and this was my first ever time in Chicago airport (who seems to think visiting an airport should be a treasure hunt ... not a sign is sight!!) so it took me forever just to find where Korean Airline's booking area is. I arrived at the bookin about 10 mins before my plane was due to leave - out of breath, in a blind panic and sure they were gonna tell me I missed my plane. Instead of telling me off or being nasty or anything they sat me down, got me a drink of water, took all my information from me. They told me that they had already contacted the airline I was comming in on and knew about my delay and that I was at the airport and most likely making my way to them. They had moved me to a seat right near the door so I could just run in an sit down. They then walked me to the search area and after going through all that someone met me on the other side me walk me to the plane - and even carried my bag!! They closed the plane door as I walked onto the plane (with maybe a second to spare) Korean Air is GREAT!!

I fly Korean Air fr Manila to Seoul then to NYC.And vice versa. I highly recommend. These guys don't F***K around. THey are always on time and their pilots are great, landing so smooth I didnt even know we landed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They have Korean Food and also offer western style food too, if u want. The stewardess are so sweet to you! Their airplanes are nice too! I would fly Korean air over and over! I flew coach, From Seoul to NYC it is 13 1/2 hour flight but the plane wasnt full so I just laid down on a few chairs toward back of plane and took a looooooooooooong nap! LOL! Korean Airlines, like Asiana leaves some snacks out in the galley if u get hungry between the meals like fruit, noodle soup, etc! Asiana is a little "fancier" thank Korean their food has a little more variety, but Korean air is generally a lot cheaper !
